The typography was updated in 2023 for the England Women's team — the Lionesses — following their Euros win the previous year. With references to the original Wembley Stadium art deco origins, the lettering and numbers for this kit were taller and lighter, with more angled elements and accentuated stencil-like lines. The result balances legibility and architectural construction with stylistic elements and abstraction.
