Celebrating duality — an all-purpose typeface centred around juxtaposing ideas.

L’OCCITANE en Provence needed a new typeface for use across all its platforms to aid distinctiveness and elevate its visual identity.

Celebrating the spirit of the brand’s duality, L’OCCITANE en Provence Serif and Sans are complementary through contrast, with both styles looking firmly to the future, whilst at the same time being informed by subtle details of the past and the brand’s implicit sense of craft.

The serif style acts with elegance, beautiful detailing and a stylish poise, whilst the sans serif acts with purity, simplicity and balance. 

Combined, they have the ability to be both flamboyant & functional, hand-finished & industrial and rural & urban.
