A unifying brand identity to bridge a publisher’s varied catalogue.
Union Square & Co. is a talent-driven publisher whose mission is to promote excellence in contemporary publishing. Based in New York City, and with a diverse collection of imprints and titles, including books for adults and children, it needed a central brand identity and visual language system to bring consistency. The toolkit and application systems we created enabled the brand to scale across touchpoints.

A type-led identity system with a custom typeface at its heart.
Having an ownable typeface was key to build equity for this new brand, and so we put a custom type family at the forefront of the Union Square & Co. identity, bringing greater character, clarity and consistency.
